Blessed Iwene Tansi Igbo Catholic Community Chaplaincy, Archdiocese of Toronto is a religious body which promotes the religious and cultural.
heritage of the Igbo people in Diaspora here in Canada. Our main goals are to celebrate the Eucharistic Mass in Igbo language on a monthly basis with the potential to increase this to twice a month, and teach catholic catechism/Sunday school to all Nigerian children that belong to the chaplaincy. We are committed to inculcating the Catholic principles and values to our children as early as possible in life according to the biblical injunction to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:16).
